Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Trade
• National Craft Certificate or Diploma! Higher National Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience on working on high voltage electrical distribution plant 11000 volts+
• Valid and clean class four (4) driver's licence.
• 6 years' post apprentice experience of which 2 years' must be at Senior Artisan level.
• People management skills
• A Certificate in Management from a recognised professional institute will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities
 

• Supervises the construction and maintenance of lines, substations, cables and electrical equipment.
• Ensures safety measures are adhered to in the distribution network.
• Administers the maintenance and running of the Customer Services Centre including performing personnel issues.
• Attends to customer queries.
